Skills around the World: Jordan

Jordan developed a lifelong learning strategy within its National Agenda for 2006-2012. The country aims to improve social and economic development by increasing access to lifelong learning opportunities for its people.

In an initiative that will help support lifelong learning, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) has formed an eLearning steering committee that has drafted a national eLearning strategy. This includes a goal to instill a culture of lifelong learning and enable connections between academic learning and experiential learning.
