The Curriculum Development Council (CDC) is an advisory body that makes recommendations to the Hong Kong government on school curriculum development from kindergarten to Secondary 6. Its membership includes heads of schools, practising teachers, parents, employers, academics from tertiary institutions, professionals from related fields or related bodies, and representatives from the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority and the Vocational Training Council, as well as officers from the Education Department. There is a Curriculum Development Council Committee on Applied Learning.

The Vocational Training Council’s Centre for Teaching and Learning develops curriculum and teaching and learning packages for VTC’s Diploma in Vocational Education Programme.
