Directorate of Technical Education (DTE)

The DTE manages and administers technical and vocational institutions.

Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB)

A key autonomous body that shares in the administration of education, the BTEB oversees curriculum development, administers examinations, and awards all certificates and diplomas.

The National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB)

This is an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Education (MOE). It modifies and develops the curriculum, and produces and distributes textbooks at primary, secondary and higher secondary levels.

Bangladesh Bureau of Educational Information and Statistics (BANBEIS)

This organisation is responsible for collecting, compiling and disseminating educational information and statistics.

Bangladesh National Commission for UNESCO (BNCU)

The BNCU functions as a corporate body within the Ministry of Education. The Commission consists of eminent educationalists and intellectuals interested in educational, scientific and cultural matters in the country.

The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MOLE)

MOLE provides skills training in Bangladesh.
