What are PMI2 Higher Education partnerships?
PMI2 Connect has successfully funded 370 Higher Education international partnerships in research co-operation, collaborative programme delivery, international mobility of UK students, partnership development grants and China-UK collaborative partnerships in entrepreneurship and employability. What funding opportunities are currently available?

Funding opportunities under the PMI2 programme has been completed and no further calls will be publicised.

Many successful projects continue with their PMI2 activity and all project end dates are scheduled between now and March 2012.

UK-US New Partnership Fund

The deadline for the UK-US New Partnership Fund has now passed.

The research findings were launched in the UK at a one-day conference on 13 May 2010 at the Royal Society of Arts in London.

Employability and Entrepreneurship in Higher Education: the UK-China Experience

Operating within the context of a global knowledge economy, Universities are developing multi-level internationalisation strategies, of which employability and entrepreneurship form important strands. This event took place in London on 18 June 2009, and addressed employability and entrepreneurship by considering how the UK and China can work together and lead in these areas. Speakers from both countries offered their perspectives and case studies were introduced from current PMI2 Connect-funded partnerships to discuss how institutions are working together towards mutually beneficial outcomes. A new round of funding for ‘China-UK Collaborative Partnerships in Employability and Entrepreneurship’ was launched, and the PMI2 Connect judging panel was on hand to answer questions about applications.
