The overall aims of the PMI2 Further Education Partnership Fund (FEPF) are to:

ensure a substantial focus on vocational skills and non-traditional routes to higher education within PMI2, in accordance with government policies in a number of the target countries |

facilitate the important role of FE / Sixth Form Colleges as key contributors to 'global skills, world class learning' and to TVET reform agendas in specific PMI2 countries |
 |
 |
 |
support FE / Sixth Form Colleges in positioning themselves effectively within the changing landscape of international education and training and broadening the scope of their global / international activities |
 |
 |
 |
support FE / Sixth Form Colleges in developing international partnerships – this will result in innovative approaches to the design and delivery of training and education programmes and related services. |
PMI2 FE funding is split into two separate measures:
As a result of the 2008 / 2009 call for funding via the joint Measure 1 / Measure 2 Prospectus, we are pleased to announce that this year, some 44 UK FE colleges are beneficiaries of grant funding in support of partnership projects across Measures 1 and 2.
