SUCCESS STORIES
People looking ahead - Credit Marcus Rose - Designer Mustapha Salay

'This is the first time I’ve seen my daughter performing on stage at a professional theatre. Being so proud and happy was my feeling when I was watching Hanh Nguyen, my daughter, singing the song “This is the Way" with her classmates. I would like to thank the British Council for having so many excellent ideas and being so professional in organising the extra curriculum activities for Young Learners'.
Mrs Tran Thi Hong Gam, Hoang Hanh Nguyen's mother from Hanoi, Vietnam.

You truly have my full admiration for your teaching method. I’m planning my Tet holidays and Ngoc keeps saying that she does not want to miss any English classes at the British Council! She also said that she and her friends did not want to take break at your class, which is AMAZING for the kids!!! I have never seen anything like that. I don’t know what you are doing at the class but I’m very IMPRESSED with the way you engage your students.

Thanks so much for your tips. I will try them all.

Parent from Hanoi, Vietnam.

'...at the British Council the organization is very professional and satisfactory... the lessons are interesting and varied: you can practise grammar and speaking and you can learn a lot of new words almost every time.

The teachers are very smart and they make lessons less heavy because studying English in the evening, after work, is not very easy... the British Council organizes a lot of extra activities such as treasure hunts, quizzes, lectures and other things. In the end, I think I can learn English and enjoy myself at The British Council'.

‘The British Council has created for the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of foreign affairs the Public Diplomacy in English course. They made every effort to meet the specific needs of the ministry and the course has become immensely popular with our staff.'
Dr. Alena Prouzová, Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy, Czech Republic.

'Great! I was not bored at all! Every piece of information was very interesting and helpful.’ ‘The Best! I have learnt a lot of useful things.’

Feedback from a participant of the Business Writing Skills course, T-Mobile.
'I really love the experience of learning at the British Council. The classmates are fantastic and my teacher is both very funny and extremely professional. The learning support outside the classroom has helped me a lot.'
Pilar Camargo Hidalgo, Bogota, Colombia.
'I found the British Council on the Internet. The professionalism of the teachers impresses me a lot. As part of the course I'm taking general English lessons, IELTS exam preparation and academic writing classes. The IELTS class is especially good, it's the kind of class where if you work hard enough you're bound to get a good score. I'll sit the IELTS exams in July. Recently I scored 6.0 in a mock test so I'm very close to achieving my goal'.
