The Global Fellowship

The Global Fellowship programme was funded by the Department for Education in England and managed by the British Council. The Department for Education is refocusing its international work in schools and, as a result, Global Fellowship programme ceased at the end of March 2011.

The British Council remains committed to enriching education, building international understanding and trust and promoting global citizenship amongst young people and we are proud of the contribution that Global Fellowship has made to school international work. We extend our thanks and congratulations to all individuals and institutions that have supported and benefitted from this programme over the years and hope you will continue to work with the British Council through our range of other international programmes.
