The British Council regrets to announce that the U.S. State Department is no longer in a position to provide financial support for the Fulbright Teacher Exchange Programme with the United Kingdom.

As a result there will be no exchanges for the 2013-4 academic year. The British Council will continue to support the current 2012-2013 cohort of UK and US teachers on exchange until the end of July 2013. British Council remains committed to the benefits of programmes such as Fulbright and hope that similar opportunities with the US will become available in the not too distant future.
