Benefits of Workshadow Exchange

The Workshadow Exchange programme enhances reciprocal understanding, strengthens relations and provides a mutual opportunity for professional and personal development for both UK and US participants.

The programme guidelines are very broad and as such there is much flexibility to enable the exchange partners to generate workshadowing schemes which bring together the diversity and strengths of the local educational scene with the skills and interests of the visitor.  There are many benefits for you and your school:

Opportunities to exchange information, ideas, strategies and policies which can help improve the quality of education offered in schools.
Recognition of headteachers' qualities, including their role as managers
The identifying of useful contacts and institutional links
Improving the skills and professional confidence of senior leaders through group problem solving within an international context.
Institutional improvement, particularly in teaching and learning.
