Education Partnerships in Africa
The UK Department for Innovation Universities and Skills (DIUS) are pleased to present a new programme for English HE and FE institutions wishing to work in partnership with counterparts in sub-Saharan Africa.
This is ‘Education Partnerships in Africa (EPA)’, and will be managed by the British Council.
EPA will encourage English FE and HE institutions to engage in partnership with sub-Saharan African universities and education and training institutions to build institutional capacity to deliver employability skills in collaboration with local employers and social enterprises.
DIUS will invest £4.5 million in education partnerships between England and Africa between 2008-2011 through this new partnership programme.
