About the Hornby Educational Trust

The Hornby Educational Trust, with the British Council, co-funds the following:

1. An MA Scholarship scheme for EL teachers and teacher trainers from countries in Central Asia, East and South Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. There are around 18 Scholarships a year in total.

2. An MA Alumni network and projects.

3. Regional Schools (or workshops) for English language teachers around the world. In 2008 so far there have been workshops in Argentina, Ethiopia, Qatar, India, Malaysia, Nepal, Russia and Sri Lanka. Further workshops are being planned.
