Jonathan Dimbleby
Broadcaster and Presenter, UK

Jonathan Dimbleby is one of Britain's most respected broadcasters. After stepping down as presenter of ITV's flagship current affairs programme, he continues to chair Any Questions and Any Answers for BBC Radio 4.

Jonathan started in local radio before moving to The World At One. He then joined This Week and made a series of films in South America before returning to the BBC to launch On The Record.

Jonathan presented and produced an influential portrait of the private and public life of Prince Charles. He also made The Last Governor, chronicling the end of British rule in Hong Kong. More recently he followed up with a series on Russia, an epic journey across a continent transformed since the end of the Cold War.

A one-time organic farmer, Jonathan Dimbleby is President of the Soil Association and Vice President of the Council for the Protection of Rural England.

Jonathan Dimbleby will chair sessions 8a - Going Global - The Dimbleby Debate, 7a - The global credit crunch: boom or bust for international education? and 6a - The global research business
