Professor Saeeda Asadullah is Vice Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi and an expert on English literature. As chief academic officer she is responsible for the policy making and advancement of the academic and scholarly life of the university. Before joining as a Vice Chancellor she was Vice Rector at National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad.
Professor Saeeda has over 35 years experience both as an academic as well as in administration including teaching, higher education research, gender and policy formulation. Professor Saeeda was the first female Pro-Vice Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Women University.
She has critically analysed classical and modern works in English literature and has many publications and research papers to her credit. Her contribution to curriculum development and teaching methodology have earned her membership of leading national and international educational and literary organisations. She has also been instrumental in highlighting women’s issues and in finding practical solutions to them.
