Dr Nurilya Shakhanova has been Director of the National Accreditation Centre since 2008. In her current role she is responsible for accreditation, academic recognition, ranking and nostrification issues.
Previously she worked as Deputy Director of the Republic’s Presidential Centre for Culture and taught at Eurasian National University and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Department of Archeology and Ethnic Studies. She also served as Director General of Central Asian Foundation for Management Development (CAMAN) in 2003-05.
Educated in Kazakhstan, Russia and USA Nurilya holds a degree of “Doctor of Sciences” and is a Fulbright scholar (University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA 1999-2000).
