Nuha Baruti is a student of architecture and a Board Member of Ignite!. Nuha likes to have a balance in her life between science and art. By having a scientific background at school she went to do A-Level in social sciences.
Nuha has a great interest in people and life, and being a young person herself made her pay special attention to young people. She worked in Greenwich and Lewisham Young People’s Theatre as an assistant co-ordinator on a film project about Somalia. As part of the project she screened the film in different secondary schools and had an open discussion with the students.
Nuha said, ”I like young people to be given a chance to have an independent view”.
