Mr. Martin Green is currently Director General of the Workplace Partnerships Directorate in the Department of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC).  Previously, Mr. Green served as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Minister, HRSDC, as well as performing the duties of Director General, Program Policy and Coordination within the Skills and Employment Branch.  Before joining the department, Mr. Green held senior management positions at Industry Canada, the Privy Council Office and Environment Canada.  Prior to joining the Public Service, Mr. Green served as Executive Assistant to Ministers of Industry, Trade, and Environment, as well as to the President of Treasury Board.  Mr. Green holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Glendon College, York University in Toronto, Ontario.
