Judith Wilson has a BA in English Language and Literature and an MA in Linguistics and English Language Teaching. She taught English to secondary school students and undergraduates for fifteen years in Britain, France, Zambia and Saudi Arabia, and then returned to the UK, where she has worked as a teacher, teacher trainer and trainer trainer for almost twenty years. She is now a freelance writer and an external consultant for Cambridge Assessment, with special involvement in IELTS as Chair of the Listening and General Training Writing papers. She has written a number of General English and Exam Preparation course books as well as other exam preparation materials. She is particularly interested in the development of listening skills and the testing of listening.
