John is currently responsible for managing and delivering custom research projects for the Economist Intelligence Unit in London. Before joining the Economist Intelligence Unit, John worked for the Office of Gas & Electricity Markets in London as a Regulatory Economist. Prior to this John worked and for Enterprise Ireland in Dublin as a Macro Economist where he worked on developing indigenous industry in Ireland. This involved focusing on productivity improvement, international competitiveness and analysing the macro economy of the main Irish export markets. John has a degree in economics from University College Dublin and a Masters degree in economics from University College Galway.
