Claus Lange is the Uni-assist Divisional Head for Africa, the Americas and Western Europe. He is also Head of External Information and Customer Consultation and manages the German On-line Fraud Register. The Register holds records of falsified application documents, such as diploma, degree and language proficiency certificates. Uni-assist’s foremost aim is to provide an admissions procedure for international applicants that is easy to use, efficient, provides value for money and is service-oriented. It allows foreign applicants to apply to an unlimited number of different universities using a standardised procedure. Uni-assist is financed by application fees, donations and subsidies. Initial funding was granted by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with funds also coming from the Federal Ministry for Education and Research. There are currently over 100 member universities spread across all 16 German regional government areas. Prior to joining Uni-assist in 2004, Claus Lange worked for an international development agency, with periods working in Bolivia and the Philippines, and, more recently, as Head of Public Relations at University of Reutlingen.
Claud Lange received a Masters Degree in International Marketing from University of Reutlingen.
