Professor Christina Slade is Dean of the Schools of Arts and Social Sciences at City University London. Previously she was Dean of Humanities at Macquarie University, Australia. Her research interests range from issues in the philosophical foundations of communication theory to issues of the global public sphere and fragmentation under the impact of new technologies. She currently leads the seven nation EU-funded project, Media.
