Dr Chris Yeomans is Policy Analysis and Public Affairs Officer at the UK HE Europe Unit, where he is primarily responsible for EU research policy, doctoral issues, university-business collaboration and regional/cohesion policy. Chris is also responsible for the Unit’s public affairs activity. Previous to joining the Europe Unit, Chris was a lecturer at Aberystwyth University, where his teaching and research focussed on European Union governance and post-socialism. Before returning to university to complete his PhD in European Governance Mechanisms, Chris held positions at the European Parliament and with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
