Speakers

International education experts from around the world will discuss a range of issues facing international education today. Confirmed speakers include Professor Drummond Bone, Professor Joy Carter, Professor Julia King, Professor Simon Marginson, Professor Robin Middlehurst, Professor Sugata Mitra, Dr Don Olcott, President John Sexton and Professor Nigel Thrift.

Conference programme

Going Global 4 will comprise of eight plenary sessions and over 20 parallel sessions, a series of poster presentations and an accompanying exhibition. Sessions in development include;

different perspectives on internationalisation
the future of universities and their role in global civil society
new models of learning
approaches to international research
public private partnerships
community cohesion
the new global regionalism: competition and collaboration among regional education areas
skills development: lessons from the European experience
the value of a sectoral approach to skills development in a global economy
