Call for poster presentations
Submit your proposal

Our call for session proposals has now closed. If you are interested in contributing to the conference, perhaps you could consider presenting a poster.

Posters are to be displayed throughout the conference on a poster wall and we'll be holding interactive poster sessions.

Submitting a proposal: To submit a proposal for a poster, complete the online submission form by the extended deadline of 20 November 2009. Successful proposals will outline a case study related to one of the four conference themes, whilst considering the broader obstacles and challenges for international education. Successful proposals will be entitled to the discounted contributor's registration rate of £350.

Poster wall: Posters will be displayed from the morning of Thursday 25 March and will remain on display throughout the conference. The poster wall offers participants the opportunity to browse posters and consider case studies in their own time, and serves as a talking point between delegates.

Interactive poster session: This year Going Global will also host an interactive poster session for delegates to listen to poster presentations and produce a 'best practice' poster for each of the four conference themes. Participants in this session will consider the obstacles and challenges for international education in their given theme. Aimed at practitioners, this session is designed to encourage greater engagement with the conference themes, as well as collaborative thinking and analysis between delegates.

Deadline: the deadline for submissions 20 November 2009.

Selection process: The conference management committee will assess proposals to ensure their quality and relevance. Successful proposals are most likely to be those that are informative and relevant. They will focus on specific content and will include opportunities for further discussion.

Speaker registration: Accepted speakers must register for the conference through our online registration form.

Discount registration fees: Whether successful or not, we'd like to award all delegates that have submitted an abstract the discounted registration fee of £500 (early bird rate £400), rather than the full rate of £600 (early bird rate £500).

Publication of posters, papers, MP3 and Videos: All presentations and papers will be published on the conference website. Presentations will be converted into Adobe Acrobat format. Presentations and papers may also be published (with agreement of authors) in the conference proceedings.
