Zarina has been an educator at tertiary level education for nearly 12 years. She is also a qualified translator. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in translating and interpreting and has a master’s degree in ESL, specialising in ESP. As well as teaching, she has also been involved in course design and materials development in EAP/ESP, soft skills training and consultancies. Her research include, among others, academic writing, semiotics, visual literacy and translation of technical texts.
