Shifa received a degree in English Literature from the University of Danmascus in 1990 and her MA from the University of Salford in 1995. Shifa worked as a teacher in international schools for more than seven years before joining the British Council to work in operations and projects. Shifa has been working as an Education Counsellor for three years, consolidating her knowledge of UK education through training, reading and research.
