Fiona Buffinton is CEO of Australian Education International (AEI), a position she has held since 2004. AEI is the international arm of the Australian Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations. It operates in 25 countries to establish government and industry links to ensure Australia’s international education sector is well recognised as a provider of quality education. AEI also promotes the ‘Study in Australia’ brand, and administers consumer protection for international students studying in Australia.
