Andrea has held the position of Director of Customer and Application Services at UCAS since 2006. Within her role at UCAS she is responsible for the department that handles the processing of over half a million applicants through UCAS, GTTR, CUKAS and UKPASS and the queries that arise from applicants, advisors and HEIs about the systems. Prior to this position she held a number of roles at UCAS gaining experience in the technical and business areas of the organisation. The continual improvement of customer service is a key focus at UCAS and as part of this Andrea is leading the membership of the company in the Institute of Customer Service. As the UCAS representative on the Delivery Partnership Steering Group Andrea has been closely involved in deciding how the recommendations arising from Sir Alan Wilson’s consultation on Improving the Higher Education Applications Process can be implemented within the UCAS scheme.
