Outline:

World Cafe is a workshop session that allows delegates to discuss and share their own perspectives on a particular issue in a relaxed, informal cafe style environment. Attending the World Cafe session will give you the opportunity to network and meet with conference delegates and share new ideas and perspectives on a theme. The workshop will explore how international education partnerships work best, including stories from the field.

The workshop will be divided into five or six tables, all of which will be covered in paper for delegates to write or draw on. At first delegates spend 15 minutes on one table discussing the theme of the session and capturing their ideas on paper. After 15 minutes everyone moves tables, except one person who stays behind as a host. The moving delegates carry their new ideas to their new table and the host stays to explain the themes they discussed previously. This change will happen three times in 45 minutes, giving you the opportunity to have three meaningful, engaging discussions. At the end of the 45 minutes the hosts from each table will summarise the common themes they discussed and participants can also offer their opinion.
