Outline:

Many foreign instittuitons want to grow long term education partnerships with India; some have already established succesful activities and others are considering what might be the best way forward. To facilitate growth Indian and foreign governments are already investing funds to support many aspects of internationalisation: for student recruitment, staff development and exchanges, curriculum and teaching programme development, research links, joint and dual degrees andteaching materials exchange.  

  • This session will provide an opportunity for participants:
  • To learn of the priorities and strategies being implemented from 3 of the world’s leading countries in international education.
  • To consider new opportunities (and constraints) towards growing international HE partnerships;
