4g - UKIERI workshop: developing research cooperation projects with India

Outline:

The UKIERI programme has to date supported over 80 cooperative research projects involving leading Indian and UK research teams. Additionally over 40 joint higher education programmes are ongoing between the two countries – offering short professional programmes, diploma courses as well as under and post graduate degrees in collaboration with Indian institutions.

A series of evaluation studies, concerning experiences with all these partnerships to date, has recently been undertaken. The objectives of  this workshop session is to encourage delegates to learn from each other, to share experiences and to learn about the implementation of a range of cooperation projects. Additionally pairs of presenters will explain the lessons they have learnt from working together. This session will evaluate the implementation of the following UKIERI collaboration projects:
