Universities of applied science have been very successful in the application and utilisation of high-level academic knowledge and skills in the work context. This session asks whether the model is transferable transnationally, or whether its success is dependent on a uniquely European view of higher education. Contributors from Germany and the Netherlands provide examples of established International Programme and Provider Mobility (IPPM) models from those countries. Stakeholder perspectives are then provided by speakers from host and sending economies and institutions.
