Contemporary Caribbean Writing

The Contemporary Caribbean Writing programme is exploring the cultural connections and the shared history of Glasgow and the Caribbean through the words and thoughts of their best contemporary writers.

The British Council is working with Commonwealth Writers, the Aye Write Festival and the programme is in association with the Gaelic Books Council.

The series of events are taking place at Glasgow’s Aye Write Festival. The pop up arts venue Empire Café will also showcase poets, novelists, storytellers and shortlisted writers.
