The Tajaawob project aimed to bridge the gap between Palestinian citizens and decision makers, promoting a culture of mutual responsiveness and responsibility. Communities were encouraged to use a variety of traditional and innovative methods to persuade authorities to improve services and policies, contributing to the development of civil society.

This £2.595 million contract was funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) and implemented by a consortium partnership, led by British Council.

The initiative closed on 30 June 2016 and the above short film was shown at the End of Project legacy events held in May in both Ramallah and Gaza. We hope it gives you an informative and interesting insight into the impact of Tajaawob.
