I would certainly be interested if you could determine if any industrial action has take place in the last 2 years in the U.K. or South East Asia, although you do not need to contact Thailand, there has been no industrial action there

Thank you for your request for information dated 9 September 2015 concerning instances of employee strike action in the UK and Southeast Asia. Your request has been handled under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000 and has been passed to me for reply.

In the UK there have been two instances of British Council strike action in the last two years.
In Southeast Asia there haven’t been any instances of British Council strike action in the past two years.
