Find out more about us

Founded in 1966, the British Council Families Association's aim has always been to support and help the families of British Council staff who are posted overseas. Here you can find out more about the people behind the process, our constitution and our meetings.

The British Council Families Association Manager and a committee of partner volunteers run the British Council Families Association. We are always looking for new committee members so please do get in touch if you would like to join.

The British Council Families Association Constitution sets out the aims of the Association. You can download it here

The British Council Families Association also holds an Annual Members Day in London in October/November, comprising the British Council Families Association annual general meeting (AGM), talk and canapé reception. This is especially recommended for members recently returned from overseas, but also a good way of socialising and networking with other members.

If you would like to find out more about this year’s events or to view past minutes of AGMs, please get in touch.
