What happens next
We try to contact all shortlisted candidates within four weeks of the closing date for applications. Unfortunately, we can’t provide feedback on applications at this stage.
When to apply
Most teaching roles are advertised in early spring and summer for posts starting in September and early October. However, some teaching jobs do open at other times, and we recruit for other roles throughout the year.
You can set up a vacancy alert by clicking the link at the bottom of the jobs portal homepage to receive an email when we post a job that matches your criteria.
We try to keep our information about jobs, terms and conditions as up-to-date as possible, but it may be subject to change at short notice.
What we’re looking for
We list the skills and experience for each job in the role profile that you can download from our jobs portal.
We also look for evidence of other qualities and behaviour, such as teamwork and accountability.
What happens at interview
We conduct interviews face-to-face, or by telephone or Skype if you are not in the location where the job will be. There is always time for you to ask questions about the job at the end of the interview.
