Department for Education of the Madrid Regional Government Comunidad de Madrid CONSEJERÍA DE EDUCACIÓN E INVESTIGACIÓN

The Department for Education of the Madrid Regional Government.  Madrid is located in the centre of Spain and hosts the central government of Spain.  It is very heavily populated, with a very small area and over 6 Million inhabitants.  It includes the largest concentration of Universities within Spain.


DIE ZEIT is Germany’s leading opinion-forming newspaper – read by more than two million readers weekly. Founded in 1946 in Hamburg, DIE ZEIT is published every Thursday – with topics on politics, economy, culture, science, education, travel and history. Publishing house and editorial department of DIE ZEIT champion free, democratic and social principles. It lays down the agenda, takes a stand, discusses issues from different perspectives and shapes opinions. An important ad-section is the weekly job-market which offers mostly to academics and scientists jobs in research and higher education and its known for the most competent and largest recruitment place within the scientific community of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Recently DIE ZEIT publishing house enlarged it´s magazine-line with the English-language magazine ZEIT GERMANY. It addresses students thinking about studying in Germany as well as up-and-coming scientists and young career entrants interested in moving to Germany.

Launched in 2008, EURAS is the union covering universities and other higher education institutions within Eurasian region.

EURAS is a non-profit international association, promoting cooperation among over 90 universities from all across West and Central Europe, Balkans, Caucasus, Middle East as well as the whole of Asia and working for the global advancement of educational standards in the Eurasian region.

Higher Education Authority

The HEA leads the strategic development of the Irish higher education and research system with the objective of creating a coherent system of diverse institutions with distinct missions, which is responsive to the social, cultural and economic development of Ireland and its people and supports the achievement of national objectives. The HEA has a statutory responsibility, at central government level, for the effective governance and regulation of higher education institutions and the higher education system.

Higher Education Commission – Pakistan

Established in 2002, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has been formulating higher education policy and regulating the university sector in terms of access, quality, standards and guidelines, as well as providing finances for recurring and development expenditure of the higher learning institutions in the public sector. The initiatives taken by the HEC have played a significant role in the development of new higher education institutions and, at the same time, uplifting the existing ones. The Commission has given special attention to ensure quality at different levels, as well as inculcating a culture of research, innovation and entrepreneurship among faculty members and students.
