ColegauCymru / CollegesWales is a charity and limited company that raises the profile of further education among decision-makers in order to improve educational opportunities in Wales. It is a member-led body, representing all 14 further education colleges and institutions in Wales.
Community Colleges for International Development (CCID) engages and empowers an international association of community, technical, and vocational institutions to create globally engaged learning environments.
Since it was founded in 1925, around two million scholars in Germany and abroad have received DAAD funding. It is a registered association and its members are German institutions of higher education and student bodies. Its activities go far beyond simply awarding grants and scholarships. The DAAD supports the internationalisation of German universities, promotes German studies and the German language abroad, assists developing countries in establishing effective universities and advises decision makers on matters of cultural, education and development policy.
Launched in 2008, EURAS is the union covering universities and other higher education institutions within Eurasian region.
EURAS is a non-profit international association, promoting cooperation among over 90 universities from all across West and Central Europe, Balkans, Caucasus, Middle East as well as the whole of Asia and working for the global advancement of educational standards in the Eurasian region.
Established in 2002, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has been formulating higher education policy and regulating the university sector in terms of access, quality, standards and guidelines, as well as providing finances for recurring and development expenditure of the higher learning institutions in the public sector. The initiatives taken by the HEC have played a significant role in the development of new higher education institutions and, at the same time, uplifting the existing ones. The Commission has given special attention to ensure quality at different levels, as well as inculcating a culture of research, innovation and entrepreneurship among faculty members and students.
National Association of Private Education Insitutions, Malaysia (NAPEI)
Established on September 15, 1987, NAPEI represents all levels of private educational institutions in Malaysia. The founding members of NAPEI sought to unite private educational institutions. With an initial registration of 11 members, NAPEI currently has a membership strength of more than 60 with a number of members with branch campuses across Malaysia. NAPEI together with the support from Ministry of Education and other Government bodies continue to represent the cause of local private educational institutions.
