This is a workshop session, designed to facilitate discussion between senior leaders in higher education Institutions around the key issues surrounding the readiness of higher education to embrace the impact of 4IR on society.

This encompasses more than the impact of technologies, and goes to the heart of the nature of higher learning, research, community impact and knowledge diplomacy.

At the end of the workshop participants will have been enabled to:

  • Reflect on the challenges and opportunities associated with the impact of Industry 4.0 on Higher Education globally
  • Represent their current state of readiness within their institutional context - from questions of curriculum design to stakeholder engagement
  • Design a future-facing, holistic educational experience that takes into account the challenges and opportunities explored in the workshop
  • Engage with LEGO® Serious Play® facilitation techniques

This is an active engagement workshop, within which Advance HE will focus on high level management decision making, and the impact of policy and strategy shifts under a 4IR environment.
