This session focuses on how TNE can develop creative synergies across borders and cultures for innovation and mutual benefit. Speakers will highlight the impacts of TNE on local, regional and national development, on employability and on national cultures and local knowledge. They examine whether TNE contributes to global well-being through mutual benefit or whether it’s simply a new form of imperialism The session will feature film vignettes, new research and scholarship. Participant dialogue will be enhanced through fishbowl conversations to develop collaborative visions and practical strategies to enhance the contribution of transnational higher education to global wellbeing.
