€20,000 Funding to Mentor a College Cluster in Botswana or Mauritius or Vietnam or Pakistan

European Union funded VET Toolbox Project

About the opportunity

Competitive call for a fantastic global partnership opportunity.

Building on a tried-and-tested and highly successful initial mentoring partnership between Hertford Regional College in the UK and colleges in Vietnam, we are delighted to announce four new British Council-facilitated mentoring partnership opportunities in four countries around the world to run over a year from September 2020 to September 2021. The college clusters to be mentored are in Botswana, Mauritius, Vietnam and Pakistan.

This is an excellent opportunity for a UK-based Further Education College or Training Organisation looking to build a network and capacity to work globally. Mentoring partnerships will be facilitated remotely using web conferenciing software and other technology tools and will focus on the theme of private sector engagement.

The successful institutions will be matched and partnered with a cluster of three to four colleges overseas to provide mentoring support for 12 months. The cluster will produce a joint action plan to work to during this time and complete a self-evaluation report. The British Council locally and in the UK will provide ongoing advice and guidance as required throughout the partnership to help ensure partnerships run smoothly and deliver maximum benefit.
