Pakistan is a rapidly developing country with the potential to be one of the world's largest economies in the 21st century. The current government has placed a heavy focus on investing in the energy sector where they are developing related education and skills training across the country. The public-private partnership initiatives provided by the government to provide skilled training opportunities to people across the country has huge potential. Aimed at increasing the percentage of skilled workers across the country, the initiative may guarantee future sustainable growth for Pakistani people.

As part of British Council Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to skills development across the country, 1 international skills partnership is available for funding. The required focus of the partnership is training and curriculum design. A Travel Grant of £2,000 is available for successful applicants to meet to discuss and plan a prospective partnership. The successful partnership application will be awarded up to a further £13,000.
