As part of EU Researchers' Night 2017, the Natural History Museum in London will open its doors until late for Science Uncovered; an evening of science talks, demonstrations and exhibitions. As part of this, The British Council are hosting Hall of FameLab 2017. Seven scientists from across Europe will be getting on the main stage in the Flett Theatre and presenting three-minute science talks in an engaging and charismatic way. All have previously been part of FameLab; a global science communication training programme and competition. The event will be hosted by Quentin Cooper. 

The seven FameLab speakers (national and international finalists) will be:

  • Joanne Duffy (FameLab Ireland)
  • Vesselin Rusinov (FameLab Bulgaria)
  • George Petrelis (FameLab Greece)
  • Andrea Campos-Candela (FameLab Spain)
  • Mahasweta Saha (FameLab UK)
  • Selma van Staveren (FameLab Netherlands)
  • Joanna Bagniewska (FameLab Poland)

They will be judged according to content, clarity and charisma by our judging panel,and also by the live audience.
