Think Differently

Wednesday 11 March 2015 -
18:00 to 21:00
British Council, London

“If we always do what we've always done, we’ll always get what we’ve always got!”

11 March 18.00 – 21.00 GMT at the British Council office in London and live online.

More than ever the world needs young people who are internationally-minded and able to participate positively in an interconnected and interdependent world. This means promoting a step change in our approach to multilingualism and cultural awareness.

We would like to invite you to participate in a workshop to explore new ideas in language learning.

At the workshop we will be looking at examples of innovative teaching from around the world. Presentations will be followed by group discussions and opportunities for networking.  At this special event we aim to bring together people from different fields, including informal educators, technologists and change leaders, as well as teachers, to share perspectives and experiences.

For ‘Think Differently” in 2015 we intend to begin by exploring three themes:

  • Approaches to immersive learning
  • Harnessing technology and gaming.
  • The motivational impact of pupil choice and autonomy

You can participate in two ways: either in person at the British Council office in Trafalgar Square in London, or by participating live online.
