Opportunities

STUDY INDIA

Saturday 25 July to Friday 7 August or Saturday 29 August to Friday 11 September 2015

This is a chance for participants to immerse themselves in contemporary India and experience this incredible country's diversity, complexity and potential. Taking Delhi and Mumbai as their classroom, they will explore India's culture, economy and history. They will spend time in Indian universities, visit historical and economic sites and interact with inspirational people of their own age as well as academic and industry experts from across India.

MAKE IN INDIA

Wednesday 1 July to Tuesday 14 July 2015

Participants will discover how India is seeking to innovate its way back to its historical position as the manufacturing capital of the world.  They will witness and interact with Indian talent - from textiles and handicraft artisans to cutting-edge 21st century manufacturers.

Our action packed itinerary includes interactions with students, workers and business leaders.  Participants will visit the megacities of Delhi and Mumbai, vibrant Gujarat and rural Rajasthan in this unique opportunity to learn from within the local context and culture.

DiIGITAL INDIA

Wednesday 30 September to Wednesday 14 October 2015

Participants will see how technology is changing lives – from the streets of Mumbai to the fields of rural India. They will visit companies, universities and start ups and develop ideas and solutions with students, end users and entrepreneurs. The programme focusses on India's "Tech City" Bangalore. During this immersion into India's innovation ecosystem we shall highlight collaboration opportunities in which young people from the UK and India can work together to solve global challenges.

Support along the way

Participants will be supported before, during and after placements with guidance, training and a welfare support team. Accommodation and meals are included.
