About

Higher education institutions in the UK that do not currently hold the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) can now apply in the 2016 call.

The ECHE is a prerequisite to participate in Erasmus+ higher education activities and is awarded for the full remaining duration of the programme. If your institution is a recognised or listed body you are eligible to apply for an ECHE, providing you offer courses at foundation/HND level or above. The ECHE is open to all types of institutions, regardless of their academic disciplines and levels of higher education (up to and including doctorates). Post-secondary level vocational education institutions can also apply.

Full details on how to apply are available on the EACEA website where you can also find the latest ECHE list (ECHE holders 2014 and 2015).
