Deadline: Friday 21 July 2017
UK universities with strong education faculities
This programme offers the UK an excellent opportunity to play a role in supporting the reform of Saudi Arabia’s education system under their Vision 2030 and for UK higher education institutions to further develop sustainable partnerships in the Middle East region.
The programme involves welcoming Saudi education professionals (teachers and administrators) to the UK for up to one academic year, for English language training, pedagogical upgrading and schools-based “immersion” placements.
For UK HE institutions that are unable to sponsor Saudi applicants’ visas via an alternative route, the British Council is anticipating supporting this exciting opportunity by offering a UKVI “Tier 5 Government Approved Exchange (GAE)” visa sponsorship service.
If that sponsorship is used, the British Council will collaborate with UK HEIs to ensure effective monitoring of participating education professionals and reporting to the Home Office in compliance with our sponsorship duties.
How to apply
institutions interested in this opportunity should carefully read the attached request for proposals (RFP).
The technical and financial proposals should be submitted to the Saudi Professional Development Project Team at: firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 21 July 2017.
