The International Research Foundation for English Language Education (TIRF) is a non-profit organisation committed to strengthening links between theory, practice and policy in English language education. They foster partnerships among researchers in the field around the world.
TIRF and its Trustees are working in partnership with Cambridge English Language Assessment and the British Council, as well as individual donors, in support of the 2017 Doctoral Dissertation Grants competition.
Grants of up to US $5,000 will be made to successful applicants investigating a range of topics in English language education.
