Eligibility

UK consultants or higher education institutions possessing the following:

  • expertise on developing and delivering leadership programmes for university Presidents and leaders
  • expertise on the HE sector particularly on internationalisation and transnational education
  • thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the HE sector in UK
  • familiarity with the higher education context in the Philippines and/or ASEAN, preferably with in-depth knowledge of internationalisation of higher education (particularly on transnational education) within the region
  • availability and willingness to travel in the Philippines

We are looking for a UK consultant or HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION to develop and deliver a leadership training programme on internationalisation for Philippine universities.

The programme, Leadership for Internationalisation, aims to develop the skills of university leaders on internationalisation of education and through the programme raise the importance of incorporating internationalisation goals into the universities' overall vision and mission. 

The programme aims to equip university leaders with leadership and management capacity that will enable them to:

  1. meet current and emerging global trends and challenges of the changing higher education sector and the demands for internationalisation
  2. develop an internationalisation agenda that fits the university’s context and needs
  3. enhance the learning environments and processes in the universities for better international opportunities for both the academic staff and the students
  4. develop universities' framework for internationalisation, including identified possible areas for TNE partnership

The programme will be delivered in the Philippines. 

Expected deliverables are: pre-training assessment report, programme design, training manual and materials, post-training assessment report and final report on the assignment.
