The Value of TNE to the UK: evolving landscapes and practices

What is TNE worth to the UK? What is it worth to you? This event will examine the findings of ground breaking research that aims to answer these questions, and access the stories behind the data. Delegates will be asked to consider these lessons in light of their own experiences and the HEGlobal network will give advice on managing TNE through governance lenses.

Who should attend?

  • International managers and strategists in universities
  • TNE practitioners in universities
  • Anyone with an interest in better understanding TNE data
  • People seeking to learn more about UK TNE

£90 - please note, a second HEGlobal workshop Directions of travel: strategies for maximising articulation to the UK through TNE is being held in the afternoon. When you book for one event, you will receive a discount code for the second workshop, so if you wish to join us for both events, your second workshop will be discounted to £60 - meaning you pay just £150 to attend both sessions.

HEGlobal is a joint initiative between the UK Higher Education International Unit and the British Council to support universities’ transnational education (TNE) activity. The events programme is designed to address the questions surrounding TNE using UK and international experts, enable the UK higher education sector to improve its knowledge of TNE whilst also offering excellent networking opportunities.
