We are co-ordinating a visit of 15 deans and vice-deans of colleges of pharmacy of universities from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), accompanied by representatives from the National Commission for Academic Accreditation & Assessment (NCAAA).
The delegation will meet with around 35 representatives from colleges of pharmacology and other institutions responsible for the improvement of pharmaceutical education in the UK as well as the UK Saudi Interest Group to discuss opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
The focus of this visit is to provide the delegates with an insight into UK higher education, particularly quality assurance systems in healthcare practice, and discuss good practice.
The delegates will share experiences with their British counterparts in fostering quality pharmacy programmes and explore opportunities for cooperation between Saudi and UK universities.
